How soon can you pick up my vehicle?
Once dispatch has confirmed a carrier to transport your vehicle we will notify you with a pickup and estimated delivery date. With the Rock bottom rate you were quoted, dispatch will usually have your vehicle picked up in 1-7 days from the first available date you give us.
How does this process work?
First step, request a quote. Second step, place your order. We will need the names, addresses, and phone numbers of both the pickup and delivery location. Third step, dispatch will begin working on assigning your vehicle to a carrier. Once your vehicle has been assigned to a carrier your account rep will notify you via email of the approximate date your vehicle will be picked up and delivered. You will be able to track your auto transport via email or our website. The carrier will call you ahead to make arrangements regarding the time of pickup. When the carrier arrives the driver will do a walk-around and inspection (Bill of Lading) of the condition of your vehicle. You will sign this inspection report releasing the vehicle to the carrier in the condition noted on the Bill of Lading. You will sign the condition report again when you receive the vehicle. Lastly, your account manager will call you to confirm your satisfaction. Remember, Agape will keep you informed during the entire process.
Paying for your auto transport, you will secure your transport order by paying a deposit via your credit card when the order is placed; this insures the vehicle will be there when your carrier goes to pick it up. The remainder of your vehicle transport cost will be paid on delivery directly to the driver per the terms set up in the order process, usually cash.
Should I transport open or enclosed?
Open transport is the most common way of transport. However, we recommend enclosed transport for high end vehicles, specialty or classic cars, cars with a special paint job, cars that are low to the ground, cars that need a carrier with higher than normal insurance coverage.
Can you give me a guaranteed date before I place my order? Can you guarantee a date?
Once dispatch has a carrier assigned we will have the pickup date for you and an estimated delivery date. It would be hard for me to give you a pickup date without dispatch assigning a carrier.
Can I pick the date I want you to pickup my vehicle?
You can request dates and our dispatch team will try very hard to meet those requests, however once dispatch has assigned your vehicle to a carrier we will let you know what the pickup date dispatch was able to confirm for you.
What types of carriers do you use?
We use 2-12 car haulers, both open and enclosed carriers. No one carrier is faster or better because of its size.
How long should an auto transport take?
All pickup times, transport times, and dates quoted are averages. Each transport will differ based on the carrier’s schedule. The following are approximate time frames to help you have an idea of what to expect. East Coast to West Coast - approx. 7-10 days; Midwest to East Coast - approx. 3-7days; South to North - approx. 3-5days.
Is this the best rate you can give me?
We are very experienced in this industry, a member of the BBB and rated 5 stars on TransportReviews and we know what it’s going to take to get your car moved. If we quote you much lower than what we think it will take to move your car, a carrier will not contract to move your vehicle and it will sit.
Why do you charge a deposit?
We charge a deposit because it insures that the vehicle will be there when the carrier goes to pick it up.
What does DOOR-TO-DOOR delivery mean?
Door-to-Door means the carrier will get as physically close as possible to your front door. If you live on a main road, at least two lanes wide, with no overhanging trees or low bridges and the streets to your house can accommodate the carrier and he is able to make it to your front door than he will do so. As the carrier approaches your pickup or delivery location the driver will confirm address and discuss accessibility. Please inform your carrier if accessibility is limited and make arrangements to meet at a local grocery store for ample space needed.
Is it cheaper to go through a terminal?
We do not use terminals because there is a high rate of damage done in terminals. Usually it is not cheaper to go through a terminal.
Do I have to be present when my vehicle is picked up or delivered?
Yes, you or your designated representative must be present when the carrier arrives for pickup and delivery of your vehicle in order to go over the “Bill of Lading” to be signed.
What if I am not there for the delivery of my vehicle?
If you are not at the agreed place of delivery to accept your vehicle the carrier will find a local terminal to store your vehicle (at the owners, or your expense) until you can pickup your vehicle. Please remember that these storage costs will be at your expense and are not included in the quote price so try to be there to accept your vehicle.
Will my vehicle be driven?
Your vehicle will only be driven to load and unload your vehicle from the carrier. Usually no more than 5 miles will be put on your vehicle during transport. Please note the mileage on your pickup and delivery inspection form “Bill of Lading”.
How do I check on the status of my order?
You may track via website, email or call us to request tracking information on your vehicle.
